In 2010, Advance Med acquired Independent Healthcare Staffing, an established travel nurse staffing agency, to head up its nursing division. IHS was started 10 years ago by two Registered Nurses who met on a Travel Assignment who strived to do something better for their professional peers that could also utilizing their experience as travelers. They wanted to create the company they wished they had worked for while they were traveling, one that did the right thing and was upfront and truthful. IHS and Advance Med share the same core values and the partnership has been a natural fit as we have helped each other grow.
