Job Title: Operating Room Radiology Technologist (OR Rad Tech)

Job Type: Contract (13 weeks with opportunity for extensions)
Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM | Monday - Friday
Location: Plano, TX

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Radiology Technologist (OR Rad Tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior OR experience in a Level 1 and/or Level 2 trauma facility and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the operating room (OR), including spinal, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgeries.
Operate GE portables, Fuji Scoli board, Airo CT, and Medtronic O-Arm imaging systems.
Provide fluoroscopic imaging support for ERCP procedures in the Endoscopy unit when needed.
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure real-time imaging needs are met.
Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control policies.
Float to Main X-ray Department if OR volume is low.
Adapt quickly to physicians' needs and navigate multiple procedures efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements:


Education: Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.

Licensure & Certifications:
ARRT Certification (Required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Preferred but not required).

Experience:


Prior OR experience in a Level 1 and/or Level 2 trauma facility (Required).
Experience with Airo CT and O-Arm (Preferred).
Experience working in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical settings.

Contract Details:


Guaranteed Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.
Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to Main X-ray Department when OR is slow.
On-Call & Weekend Rotation: None.
