Mammography Technologist
In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, fostering patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to performance improvement initiatives and mentor new staff and students, making a lasting impact on the next generation of healthcare providers.
You'll play a vital role in womens health by performing essential screening and diagnostic mammography, as well as bone densitometry and needle localizations. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of care, meeting all quality control requirements under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
Education Requirements
· Associates Degree – Radiologic Technology – Preferred
· 2 years of formal education in a hospital-based program - Preferred
Experience Requirements
· 2-year Mammography – Required
Licensure and Certification Requirements
· Florida State Radiologic Tech license – Required
Schedule – Shifts are DAYS
· 7:30-4:00
