Job Details

Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system.
Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing.
Managing medication.
Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated.
Making referrals for specialized care or treatment.
Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards.
Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews.
Searching for a physician who is board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services on a full-time basis to the male population at this correctional facility.
Schedule is weekdays (no evenings, weekends, or holidays) with start/end times that have some flexibility based on needs of facility.
Assignment could lead to permanent hire.
