Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric - (RRT - Peds - Pedi)
StartDate: 10/1/2024 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1340.86 - $1544.91

CRT/ RRT needed asap SHIFT: NIGHTS 7P-7A ***THE TRAVELER MUST CLOCK IN & OUT IN ORDER TO GET PAID*** REQUIREMENTS: American Heart Association (AHA) Approved Certifications FLU VACCINE REQUIRED DURING OCTOBER 2024-MARCH 2025 FLU SEASON - DECLINATIONS NOT ACCEPTED ASSOCIATES'S DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED INSTITUTION BLS, ACLS, & PALS 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE *REQUIRED: ANY MISSED SHIFT REQUIRES WORKING A MAKE-UP SHIFT DURING THE SAME WORK WEEK (IF POSSIBLE) OR DURING THE SAME PAY PERIOD (IF NOT POSSIBLE DURING THE SAME WORK WEEK) TRAVELERS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE NECESSARY INFORMATION OR REQUIREMENTS WILL BE REJECTED *Previously employed CAMC permanent staff will have to wait 2 years before being hired as a traveler.* MUST INCLUDE PERMANENT HOME ADDRESS AND SS# ON THE SUBMISSION TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM FACILITY Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment. Requires an associate's degree and a credential of Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). May be expected to maintain a CPR certification. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager.
