Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)
StartDate: 11/18/2024 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1982.00 - $2184.25

Designated as a 24-hour trauma, stroke and chest pain center, UHS Wilson Medical Center is a 280-bed medical clinic facility serving Johnson City with emergency care and medical clinic services. It is a regional referral center for such high-level medical and surgical services as cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and neurosciences, cancer care, emergency care, maternity and high-risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, ambulatory surgery, diabetes education and care, blood disorders treatment, and physical therapy and rehabilitation. Our Johnson City hospital trains physicians through a long-standing and highly respected Medical Residency Program. Nurse Patient Ratio: 1 to 1 Scrubs provided: Dark Green Number of Beds/Cases:10 / (20-40) per day EPIC OR Number of Births/mo: only emergency c-sections Selling Points for unit: Collaborative, family feel environment, Safety focused, Innovative Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Level II Trauma Center with services in: Cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, vascular, GU, GYN, ENT, trauma orthopedics, robotics (Davinci XI) / Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, hernia repair, CABG, Laminectomy. Ureteral stent placement, gamma nail, robotic hysterectomy,etc Common Equiment: Conmed Electrocautery, harmonic scalpel, power staplers, Ethicon, Medtronic, Intuitiv Da Vinci XI Start and end shift times: 11a-11:30p, 9a-9:30p Lunch ( ½ hr, 1 hr, 2 hr, etc): 1/2hr Use of Ancillary staff: Yes Does supplemental staff float: Yes What areas require floating? only OR Frequency: rarely

Required Qualifications

NY LIC
FOR ST:
NBSTSA Cert
BLS
Strong skills in Neuro and Robotics.
