Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)

Available Shifts: 8 D, 10 D
Pay Rate: $1701.50 - $1960.43
SLP needed asap for 13 weeks
SHIFT: Days, Flexible - 8a-4:30p some weeks, 5 days and perhaps 10 hours days some weeks. Days only, weedend rotations, holidays as needed
REQUIRMENTS:
Active Speech Therapy License in MO
BLS
2 years exp in specialty
Previous travel exp preferred
(Willing to review candidates willing to get MO license)

A Speech-language pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients in the acute medical setting. The speech pathologist provides services to patients of all ages as ordered immediately post trauma, surgery, acute medical event or exacerbation. Speech pathologists assist patients to reach their highest level of function in the areas of communication and swallowing. The SLP makes recommendations for the next level of care and also provides education and to patients and their families. Speech pathologists participate in specialty teams including pediatric, neonatal care, assistive technology, and endoscopic voice/swallowing assessments.

Licenses: SLP-MO
Certifications: BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
