MRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)

Available Shifts: 8 E
Pay Rate: $2501.00 - $2882.00
Shift: Evenings, 5x8, 1530-0000
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Rotating call, could be 2 -3 days per week including the weekend
Call Requirements: As required by facility
Required Licensure: ARRT
Required Certifications: BLS
Preferred Certifications: MRI Registry
Years of Experience: 2 years plus, Peds Radiology/Imaging required
Float Requirements: none
Equipment: GE 1.5 and GE 3T, we use Visage as our PACS system
EMR: EPIC
Must Have Skills/Experience: excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Skillset/Experience: GE 1.5 and 3T experience
Type of Patients on Unit: all types of patients are done – vented patients, anesthesia cases
Scrub Color: Black (top, bottoms, jacket)
Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety.
Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
Certifications: A.R.R.T. registered upon hire. Must obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year of hire.
