Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)

Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $2063.64 - $2261.22
Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist needed asap for 13 weeks
1. EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Graduate of accredited Speech/Language Pathology program (Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred)
Current Hawaii licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required to be considered (willing to apply or pending applicants will be declined until licensed)
Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification
Current BLS/HCP certification. Must be valid for duration of contract
Completion of a FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow) course. Provide evidence of completion with profile submission
2. Professional Experience:
Two (2) or more years experience as a SLP in an acute care setting prior to any travel assignments
This does not include student clinical experience or practicum
Preferred experience:
Prior FEES clinical experience and MBS ImP
Experience with adult swallowing, communication, and cognitive evaluation and treatment.
3. Other requirements:
Complete compliance must be completed and uploaded to Medefis VMS portal 10 or more days prior to start of assignment
Proof of current COVID-19 and INFLUENZA vaccinations per CDC guidelines required:
COVID vaccine or booster 2023 or later
Current season (2024/2025) Flu vaccine
No RTO granted during initial assignment
Queen's is open to Hawaii residents, but they will not be offered traveler rates. Please submit rate bid with submission. ALL COMPLIANCE WILL BE DUE 10 DAYS BEFORE START!
