Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Catheterization Lab to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced interventional setting while also supporting radiology interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac catheterization and possess a strong understanding of critical care protocols.
Duties
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after procedures.
Educate patients and their families about procedures, recovery expectations, and post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Ensure all necessary equipment is available, sterile, and functioning properly before procedures.
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Previous experience in a Catheterization Lab and/or Interventional Radiology preferred.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
