MS/Telemetry RN – Night Shift (Travel Nurse)
Location: Rome, NY
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Job ID: 30402267Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Overview:
A facility in Rome, NY is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong IV skills, confidence in managing cardiac drips, reading EKG strips, and wound care, and the ability to float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide telemetry and medical-surgical patient care
Float to Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as required
Administer cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem) and interpret telemetry strips
Manage IV therapy and wound care
Qualifications:
Active New York RN license
BLS and ACLS certification (required before start)
NIH Stroke Certification (required before start)
Unit Information:
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
