Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: 8-Hour AM Shifts | Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team in a large hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have ARRT (R) certification, BLS certification, and experience working in the Operating Room (OR) and other radiology areas. This is a Monday-Friday position with no on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the OR and various hospital departments.
Operate advanced radiology equipment in a large hospital setting.
Ensure accurate positioning of patients and maintain radiation safety protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in surgical procedures requiring imaging.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Associate Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Iowa (IA) Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain quickly).
ARRT (R) Certification (Required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required).
Experience:
Experience in a large hospital setting (Preferred).
Prior experience working in the Operating Room (OR) (Preferred).
Familiarity with a variety of radiology equipment (Preferred).
Contract Details:
Guaranteed Hours: 36-40 hours per week.
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
On-Call Requirements: None.
