Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D Pay Rate: $1697.99 - $1956.38

Sono-Diag/OB Tech needed ASAP Performs sonographic examinations on all ages (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operation of the department and insuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Performs responsibilities of receptionist/clerk or other Department duties as needed. *Must be vaccinated for COVID* Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent. Two years post graduate experience preferred. Computer experience desirable. American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Registry eligible with ARDMS will be considered. Strong in OB and able to work independently without a Radiologist on site. Limited Vascular and abdomens. Performs sonographic examinations on all ages (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operation of the department and insuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Ability to identify and apply, preferred. Please make note of the following information: - Private Housing is not provided. All housing units are shared units. - Initial Airfare to YKHC will be "reimbursed" upon candidate's arrival (This is only based on the average cost of a plane ticket, if the candidate brings additional items they will be responsible for the cost) - Cab vouchers will be provided based on the employee's proximity and distance to the hospital (this is done at the discretion of the Hiring Manager). - There is "no" Holiday Rate Pay provided for this position. ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS Incidentals provided by facility: Travel, housing (accommodations may be shared) Housing and Airfare. Airfare must be booked by the candidate and submitted by agency for reimbursement upon candidate arrival.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent.
Two years post graduate experience preferred.

American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Registry eligible with ARDMS will be considered.
