Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
StartDate: 9/30/2024 Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D Pay Rate: $2938.90 - $3386.13

CT/ X- Ray Tech needed asap This is a Day Shift, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 36 hours QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of formal Radiologic Technology accredited program. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and CT, or equivalent required by state of Oregon. Licensed in the State of Oregon as Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist. Current BLS certification. Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population desired. Performs diagnostic radiography procedures Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner. Prepares patient for procedures; provides instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Operates Computed Tomographic equipment and accessories. Selects appropriate program for the desired protocol. Understands methods and is capable of performing venipunctures. Evaluates images for technical quality, manipulates display parameters, and provides hard copy records assuring proper identification.

Required Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of formal Radiologic Technology accredited program.
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and CT, or equivalent required by state of Oregon.
Licensed in the State of Oregon as Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist.
Current BLS certification.
Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population desired.

This nonprofit, 25-bed hospital has proudly served the Greater Hermiston region since opening its doors in 1954. The medical center is the largest facility in the Good Shepherd Healthcare System, which provides care for patients throughout northeast Oregon. The fully accredited hospital boasts state-of-the-art medical technology and a wide range of services, including medical/surgical, OB/GYN, and critical care. The Level III emergency department offers services 24 hours a day.
