Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 12/16/2024 Available Shifts: 8/10 D/N/E Pay Rate: $2205.66 - $2541.31

Sono- Diag/ Vas Tech needed asap Variable shift position. On Call requirements. Weekend requirements Y. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Candidate must have credentials and NM state licensing (medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy). This must be completed by the 1st Friday of the 1st of week of the traveler's contract. If a copy or the original is not provided your traveler will be taken off of the schedule and guaranteed hours will not apply. There is an attachment of the application form on this posting as well. CERTS: Must be registered in vascular as RVT or RVS by ARDMS or CCI and have NM state ultrasound licensee - RVT/RVS required. BLS/BCLS certifications required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2 years’ experience in current specialty required. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. The individual must demonstrate skills necessary to function in the Echo lab. Candidate must be able to perform general and vascular, . Candidate must have advanced knowledge in basic knowledge of imaging equipment. Candidate must be able to work cohesively with other team members. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: Required and provided by the facility.

Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Diagnostic Experience: 2 years Licenses: SONO-NM Certifications: S-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed) AND Sonographer, Vascular Experience: 2 years Certifications(At least one of the following): RVT-VT-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed), RVS-Cardiovascular Credentialing International(Copy needed) On Call: $4 - 2 hr min SSN Required DOB Required 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
