Sonographer - GYN - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2794.58 - $3062.15

Ultrasound Tech needed asap ***Primary Days, Some shared call/discussed at interview*** *****Urgent Need for Experience Ultrasound Tech**** Performs diagnostic imaging using ARDMS protocols for the following exams: OB/GYN; abdomen; pelvic and endovaginal; small parts including breast, thyroid, and scrotum; vascular, including DVT, arterial legs, carotids. Receives patients, explains procedures, and selects appropriate equipment to ensure good patient care. Echocardiography is a plus. Office Duties. Performs office jobs in a small department including, but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling patients’ exams, printing reports, retrieving charts, researching problems, ordering supplies, copying and mailing exams to various facilities, and helping providers. Collaborates with SEARHC staff to create a positive working environment. Documentation of QA and QC for SEARHC imaging modalities. Documents: high level disinfection, and other information per Joint Commission regulations. Associates degree with certification in diagnostic sonography. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program preferred 1 year Ultrasound experience ARDMS or registration eligible - AB/OB BLS Extensive knowledge of the anatomy and physiology used in standard ultrasound. Skilled at independently performing ultrasound. Skilled in oral and written communication. Skilled in organizing and cleaning work areas and maintaining equipment in serviceable condition. Able to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, patients, computer technologists, and SEARHC staff.

Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Diagnostic Experience: 1 year Certifications: RDMS-AB-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed); RDMS-OB-American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed) AND Sonographer, OB/GYN Experience: 1 year SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in last 1 year Associates degree with certification in diagnostic sonography.
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program preferred
