Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 10 D Pay Rate: $1715.18 - $1879.40

Echo Tech needed asap for 13 weeks Day Shift 4/10's - 7a - 7:30p With On-Call Responsibilities On-call responsibilities are shared by all staff and scheduled ahead of time. This includes overnight coverage as well as weekends. The Echo traveler for NMC needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures: 1. Adult 2D echo a. with use of contrast agent b. bubble study c. Post cardiac cath d. Post surgical echo e. assessment of pericardial effusion f. pericardiocentesis imaging g. calculating LV and RV strain h. diastology with TDI i. PISA calculations j. Biplane measurements for EF 2. Treadmill stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging 3. Dobutamine stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging 4. Transesophageal Echo (TEE), set up , image acquisition, physician assistance 2 years experience

Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Echo Experience: 2 years The Echo traveler for NMC needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures:
1. Adult 2D echo
a. with use of contrast agent
b. bubble study
c. Post cardiac cath
d. Post surgical echo
e. assessment of pericardial effusion
f. pericardiocentesis imaging
g. calculating LV and RV strain
h. diastology with TDI
i. PISA calculations
j. Biplane measurements for EF

2. Treadmill stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging
3. Dobutamine stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging
4. Transesophageal Echo (TEE), set up , image acquisition, physician assistance
